Hi there! I’m Subha, a psychologist based in India. I’m passionate about helping people get unstuck and create the life they truly want, supported by a scientific understanding of how our brains, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours work. Having grown up loving science and its contribution to well-being, my core mission is to demystify the science of mental health. I empower people to understand their minds so that mental health doesn't have to be scary or confusing, allowing them to connect with themselves with more compassion and clarity.

My Approach and Experience

My experience has led me to a fundamental understanding: you are not inherently "wrong," "faulty," or "broken". Instead, there is always a reason for your suffering; beneath all the pain, we are simply trying our best to protect ourselves. You are more than just your pain, and I want to honour all parts of you. My therapeutic approach focuses on helping you connect deeply with yourself and your experiences. This enables us to understand your pain and suffering in a new way that leads to lasting transformation, alongside integrating interpersonal neurobiology and the Attachment lens into our work.

My Journey Into Psychology

Ever since I was a child, science has been intriguing to me, specifically the intricate functioning of the human being. This curiosity eventually led me to stumble upon Psychology the science of human experiences. Inspired by a few pioneers in the field and several of my professors, I chose the path of a therapist. Having first-hand experience of the power of psychology leading transformations in people’s lives, time and time again, solidified my choice to dedicate my career to this work.

Teaching, Training, & Community Work

Along with my individual therapy practice, I am committed to elevating the field and spreading mental health literacy. I teach and train budding therapists on the skills and competencies required to be efficient practitioners, specifically focusing on Counselling skills and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also conduct mental health webinars and workshops for the community to spread awareness and skill sets that support overall well-being.
