Anxiety can feel like in the body as shortness of breath, heart palpitation, nausea or disorientation, shivering, Panic, or through thoughts and “what-ifs”. This may be because of a known stressor(Academics, relationships, or career) or an unknown stressor (out of the blue). Oftentimes, you would have noticed that the more controlling and avoidance, and distraction haven’t helped either. And the pattern repeats. I just want to let you know that you don’t have to deal with this alone.
Life happens, so do the changes we experience. Life transitions are significant events, phases, or changes that impact our lives, shaping who we are and how we interact with the world. This transition can bring mixed emotions. It can be confusing and difficult to navigate this phase, and you might find yourself stuck. Some of these transitions have been taught to us to be the ones that “should feel joy and happiness,” like transitioning to parenthood or marriage, or moving to a new city/country or Job. That’s okay if you feel mixed emotions, along with happiness or no happiness, yet just uncomfortable emotions. That’s completely okay. On the other hand, there are certain transitions that can be hard, like adapting your life after a divorce, a Job loss, retirement, or a Career change. Change can be difficult and sometimes scary, but you don’t have to do this alone.
